Nothing could be less exciting to me. My passion is to make images that go far beyond what you could do with an iPhone — and if you're going to have a portrait done, it should be exactly that.
Every person has a story — passions, a personality, a way of moving through the world that is entirely their own. My job is to find that, frame it, and capture it in a way that a snapshot never could. The goal isn't a photograph. It's an image that makes people stop.
I want to use photography to create a gallery-quality view of the things that make you distinctly you. That takes time, intention, and a willingness to work until the image is right — not until the hour is up.
Sessions run as long as they need to. There are no hourly limits, no rushed wardrobe changes, no artificial pressure to wrap up. The shoot ends when the work is done — not when the clock says so.
Rather than delivering hundreds of proofs and leaving you to sort through them alone, you will receive a smaller set of curated, exceptional images — the ones that will define the session. If none of them are the right photo, we'll begin again. Quality over quantity, every time.
Every shoot is different. Every subject is different. Packages impose limits that have nothing to do with what your portraits actually need. Each session includes whatever is required to meet the goal — nothing more, nothing less.
Great photography doesn't end when the shutter closes. The difference between a good image and an extraordinary one is often what happens in post — the color grade, the retouch, the final output calibrated precisely for the medium it will live in.
My background spans several decades of media production across photography, videography, digital media, broadcast television, and digital signage — always with deep fluency in the tools that turn raw captures into finished art. Photoshop and Lightroom aren't utilities in my workflow. They're instruments.
